On behalf of the San
Bernardino County California Sheriff's Department, West Valley Search and
Rescue Team, we would like to briefly outline who we are and what we do for the
Community. We are a non profit organization and are staffed 100% by volunteers.
These volunteers annually donate tens of thousands of hours of their own time
and are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to respond to any emergency. The
lifesaving services that West Valley Search and Rescue provides to the Community
are invaluable.
The West Valley Search and Rescue Team is funded solely from private contributions, Grants, and fund-raising activities. In April of each year the team holds our annual 5/10K "Fun Run and Walk Fund-Raiser." We are currently seeking donations and/or door prizes for this event. Any contribution you can make would certainly be appreciated.
HERE IS HOW TO HELP: You may mail your contribution or donation to the "Team Fund-Raiser" at West Valley Search and Rescue, PMB 475, 8780 19th St. , Alta Loma, CA 91701. Remember that all contributions are tax deductible. Our Federal and Non Profit Organization ID number and your receipt are available upon request. Should you have any questions regarding the team, please feel free to contact Sgt. Dennis Shaffer at the Chino Hills Sheriff's Station 909-364-2021 or the team's voice mail at 909-207-2444. If you have any questions regarding the fund-raiser, please contact team member Rick Fontana at 909-207-2444 or at fundraising@westvalleysar.org. Thank you for your support.
